Testing the Water
Water testing is critical for maintaining a reef. On a weekly basis, I test and record results. Testing is done by meters, test tube samples, and dipping test strips. I keep a log of the test results to identify unhealthy trends and/or success. These are the items I test: Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Salinity, PH, Temperature, Calcium & Alkalinity.

It's official! This is my new desktop wallpaper. I'll definitely be the envy of the office when I start talking about how awesome my Briareum is! Just kidding. I'll have to give you props since I sure don't have the motivation to invest all the time required into this hobby.
